This image perfectly depicts one of the many atrocious lies foisted upon the female of our species. In other cultures women remain slaves to husbands, fathers, political leaders. In our "progressive and civilized" society, women become victims of their own LIES. Beauty is not a bad thing, even vanity is understandable in small doses. But MALE FANTASY has driven the press, advertising and entertainment mediums to very persistently present images such as these as "ATTAINABLE" model of beauty. Attainable yes, only through plastic surgery and photographic manipulation. So, the fantasies are practically never met in reality, and women WILLINGLY kill themselves trying to attain these ideal images of beauty because they believe and perpetuate the lies themselves.
