Mr. White on White
Ronald Bloore was born in May of 1925. He is a Saskatchewan Artist born in Brampton, Ontario. Bloore was a member of the Regina Five and also received an Order of Canada. Ronald Bloore always had a love for art. Bloore studied and received his bachelors in archaeology and art from the University of Toronto before travelling to New York where he studied art history. Ronald also taught art and archaeology at Washington University from 1951 to 1954. Ronald eventually moved back to Canada and became an instructor at the University of Toronto. Ronald moved to the prairies to become a professor at the Regina Campus. He taught art and archaeology. In 1993, Bloore was made a member of the Order of Canada. Later that year he was awarded an honorary Doctor of Letters degree from York University. Finally, in 2001, he was given an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Regina.
