Shelly Howse

Shelly was born in Regina, Saskatchewan. She joined the Regina Bell Ringers while attending Martin Collegiate high school. She was a tower bell apprentice and member of the Junior Handbell Choir.

Shelly moved up to the Performance Handbell Choir under the direction of Sandra Cosbey. During this time Shelly was director of the Junior Handbell Choir for two years. Shelly then took a hiatus from bell-ringing to pursue other interests.

Since her return to the Regina Bell Ringers in 1991, Shelly focused on the handbells. She has rung in the Handbell Choir, small ensembles and as a solo ringer. She also served on the Regina Bell Ringers executive as Secretary.

For the 1995-1996 season, Shelly was the Director of the Handbell Choir and the President of the Regina Bell Ringers.
