June Mitchell was born in June 1926. She was married in 1948 and has 7 children. She attended school at Central Collegiate, Regina college and got her degree in arts at the University of Saskatoon and her certificate in education. June taught at Coldwell and became the Special Education Consultant for the Regina School Board. June has been writing short stories and poetry since she retired. June has traveled across North and Central America in her van with her dogs.
